Elementary Intervention Specialist
Position: Part-time (3-days)
Location: Chapel Hill Christian School North Campus
Description: The Part-Time Intervention Specialist provides academic support and specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a Christ-centered elementary school environment. This position works collaboratively with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized learning plans while nurturing students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth in accordance with the school's mission and biblical values.
Description:
- Coordinate and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related service plans.
- Implement and oversee student accommodations and modifications.
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure appropriate instructional strategies and interventions.
- Monitor student progress and assist with student assessments.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress and support plans.
- Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with applicable special education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Experience is preferred
- Professes faith in Jesus and exhibits a growing relationship with Him.
