CHCS Volunteers help promote the mission and philosophy of Chapel Hill Christian School, promoting community between the parents and faculty in order that the school may be an extension of the family.
We have many opportunities for parents or grandparents to serve the school by volunteering. Our CHCS volunteers play a unique role in meeting many of the behind-the-scenes events and needs of the school. No matter your season of life, there is always a place for you to be involved! Whether volunteering to open car doors and greet students as they arrive, Bowl-a-Thon, Spring Arts Festival, chaperone field trips, work in classrooms, or help in organizing a fundraising event, we recognize the role that each CHCS volunteer plays in helping the school accomplish our mission.
Background Check
All parents or family members desiring to volunteer their time in the school or on a field trip must have a Background Check, facilitated by the school office. The first parent receives a free background check. All others must pay a fee. These background checks are good for three years. All records will be on file at the school.
