Leadership
South Campus Principal, Mrs. Vicki Keys
My passion for Christian education comes from having parents who taught and modeled for me the life and love of Jesus from the time I was born. At the age of 4, I prayed to receive Jesus as my Savior. I continued to grow and be mentored in my faith as my parents took me to church faithfully and taught me to serve alongside them.
When I was entering 3rd grade, a Christian school opened in my hometown of Jackson, Michigan. It was a financial sacrifice for my parents to send me, but I had the blessing of attending that school through my senior year of high school. I loved my experience there and developed the desire to be a teacher in a Christian school.
My experience in Christian education came as I taught high school Math and English at a local Christian school, homeschooled my children, and then came to CHCS to be a help and support as a substitute, aide, homework help, and daycare monitor. It was as I was helping to oversee the remote school option of CHCS, during the covid pandemic, that the Lord laid it on the hearts of others to ask me to be Principal. I am here because I know firsthand the impact that Christian education in the home, church, and school (our CHCS triangle) had on my life. I believe in the profound difference it can make in the lives of young children when they make decisions early in their lives to follow Jesus!
