Laura Wilson
Preschool Teacher
South
I have been a Pre- Kindergarten teacher for many years, at both the North and South Campus. I am once again thanking the Lord for the opportunity to be working with young hearts at Chapel Hill Christian School South. Before becoming a mother to my own children, I was serving with early school age children in Sunday School instruction and Child Evangelism Fellowship. Then, after having my own little ones, I studied intensely on shepherding a child’s heart and helping them find all that God had planned and His purpose for them. After that I began what has now been almost fifteen years with Chapel Hill Christian School. My Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Akron has been quite helpful in finding the many creative ways God wants to minister in the lives of young children during the early stages of development. I continue adding to my degree in order to ensure that what is currently being taught is offered to each child in my classroom. I have lived in two other states, but grew up in Ohio. I now live in Cuyahoga Falls. I have been married to “Pastor Wilson” for 33 years and I am still very much in love. All of our children (grown and married ) graduated from Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy and two are graduates of Chapel Hill Christian School! I serve at the Chapel of Akron as a Biblical Lay Counselor.  My hobbies are reading, hiking, listening to music, thrift shopping and being with family!
