Remote Learning Teacher 3-6
Hello, my name is Faith Smith and I have the privilege of teaching 3rd grade here at Chapel Hill Christian School. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Liberty University. Prior to having children, I worked as an Early Intervention Specialist Case Manager in Illinois and a Director for United Cerebral Palsy Adult Day Programs in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
My introduction into the world of education began when my husband and I decided to homeschool our two children. When my children entered school I returned to the workforce as a Pre-K teacher. I taught Pre-k for five years while completing courses for my Early Childhood Education Degree from the University of Akron.
Teaching is a passion for me. I enjoy working with students and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to not only teach them academically but also spiritually. It is such an honor to be able to integrate Biblical truths into all of the instructional areas. My prayer and goal as a teacher is to live a purposeful life that reflects Christ to my students and their families. It’s my desire to prepare, equip, and challenge students to love the learning process while growing spiritually and academically.
I’m looking forward to this upcoming school year and anticipating that God will do amazing things with this year’s 3rd grade class.
