Kindergarten Program (Age 5)

Chartered by the State of Ohio, Accredited by ACSI southChapel Hill Christian School’s full day Kindergarten offers students a superior academic environment. Our Biblically-integrated Kindergarten curriculum includes Reading, Mathematics, Bible class, Social Studies, Science, Health, Spanish, Art, Music, Physical Education and Library. Many subject areas are enhanced with the integration of our wireless mobile computer lab. Our Kindergarten students also have the opportunity to participate in interesting field trips, rewarding local outreach programs and a unique relationship with students in Guatemala. Kindergarten is a Five day program scheduled from 9:00 – 3:30. Parents have the option for early dismissal at 1:30. Supplemental Day Care is available before and after the normal school day for all grades. Hot lunches are available on a daily basis.

COVID-19 Cases:

9/9/20 - One confirmed case of COVID-19. Individual recovered and returned symptom free after quarantine according to CDC guidelines. Contact traced to 2 people and both came back negative.

10/14/20 - One confirmed case of COVID-19.
(Symptoms on 10/14). Individual recovered and returned symptom free after quarantine according to CDC guidelines. Contract traced to 0 people.

11/12/20 - One Confirmed case of COVID-19.
Individual was quarantined at the time of the positive test due to being a contact trace from an individual outside of the school. Contact traced to 0 people.

11/13/20 - One confirmed case of COVID-19.
(Symptoms on 11/14). Individual was already in quarantine due to being a contact trace from an individual outside of the school. Contact traced to zero people.

11/27/20 - One confirmed case of COVID-19. 
Individual was at home due to the Thanksgiving Break and is now in quarantine according to CDC Guidelines.  Contract tracing is in process with Summit County Public Health; seven individuals are following quarantine according to CDC Guidelines while tracing proceeds.
