We are honored to say that we are a Christian school. CHCS is non-denominational, believing that God provides eternal life through believing in His son, Jesus Christ. We believe that teaching academics is only a small part of a child’s total education. Spiritual and moral values, proper attitudes, respect for authority, and the rights and feelings of others are considered of major importance in training children to become mature Christian leaders.
We believe that parents are the stewards of the children God has given them. The Bible clearly states that it is the parent’s responsibility to “train a child in the way he should go.” (Proverbs 22:6) We are careful that the school never usurps this responsibility. We make every effort to partner with our parents in their parenting role.
CHCS families represent over 70 churches in the vicinity. It is our desire that every family is part of a local congregation where God’s Word is the focus and where everyone is involved in Christian fellowship and ministry. We are considered an independent school because we are not administered by or associated with any one particular church.
The following list is a sample of the many churches our students attend. If you are not a part of a church, we invite you to attend any one of these churches and make it your church home.
