Mrs. Vicki Jennings
Grade: Pre-School Hi. My name is Vicki Jennings. I have been working at Chapel Hill Christian School since 2003, in volunteering and staff positions. My past positions at CHCS have included serving as daycare monitor, lunchroom supervisor, Late Day program coordinator, teaching craft classes and leading girls Bible studies. During the past year I served as a teacher's aide for the Pre-Kindergarten class. It has been a blessing to help guide and see Gods love grow and work in these children. I have been married to my husband, Marshall (a CHCS alumnus), since 1993. We have two great kids, Brad and Sierra, who both love the Lord and love bringing home any animal that is lost or hurt. They are truly the joy of our lives. I have worked in the optical field for twenty-seven years, seventeen of them as a Licensed Optician. I have attended various schools to perform vision screenings and put together fund raisers for Prevent Blindness of America. Working with children is my heart's desire. I have worked with children from Alaska to Ohio. I have been involved in summer camps, Pioneer Clubs, Sunday School teaching, 5-Day Clubs, and working in the nursery/ toddler rooms. In our own home we have had neighborhood VBS and Happy Birthday for Jesus parties. I am so excited to begin our Pre-School program this year. My desire and goal for my students is to teach godly, biblical values in a fun, hands-on learning environment. I want their first school experience to be creative, fun, and have a structured atmosphere. Sign language, Spanish and cooking class will be some of our special learning activities. |
