Chapel Hill Christian School would like to welcome Reverend John Wilson as the new administrator. Rev. Wilson has a rich history with CHCS as he was a sixth grade graduate in 1969. His wife is currently a pre-kindergarten teacher for Chapel Hill and two of his children have also graduated from CHCS. Pastor Wilson possesses the qualities, character, and experience necessary to successfully lead Chapel Hill Christian School.
We are thankful to God for guiding us to the person He has called to lead CHCS, continuing to uphold our school's longstanding, Christ-honoring presence in the community. Reverend Wilson plans to begin his new role on May 31, 2011.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for God's leading in this matter. Please continue to pray for wisdom for the leadership of CHCS.
Mr. Barrett's class enjoyed a HOT day at Cedar Point to end their sixth grade year.

North Campus Fine Arts Festival

The North campus held its Fine Arts Festival on Friday, May 20. Families enjoyed music from the 5th and 6th grade bands and the handbell choir. The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten choirs performed the musical "David and the Giant." "American Ideal", a musical about humility, was performed by the 1st through 6th grade choir. Student art was featured in the foyer at Christ Community Chapel. Thank you to Mrs. Isaacs, Miss Miller, and Mrs. Norman for a wonderful evening!

The North campus sixth graders celebrated with Medieval Fair Day. Queen Watson and Princess Reich invited ladies, knights, jesters, vikings, and fire eaters to Chapel Hill Castle to enjoy a grand feast and medieval games.

The Green Campus had it's Fine Arts Festival!

The Green campus had its Fine Arts Festival at Maranatha Bible Church on Friday, May 6. The evening began with several staff members being honored for their years of service to CHCS. The audience enjoyed performances from the sixth grade bell choir, fifth and sixth grade combined band, and the praise and worship team. "Rocky" and "Stoney" gave a different perspective to the story of David and Goliath. The evening concluded with the musical "David and the Rock Slinger" under direction of Mrs. Secrest. Mr. Barrett, sixth grade teacher, portrayed Goliath flawlessly!
Thank you to everyone who attended this special evening!
