Mrs. Mary Sue Watson
Grade: 6th Grade
My name is Mary Sue Watson. I have been a sixth grade teacher at Chapel Hill since 1996. Teaching has always been such a huge part of who I am. It is a joy in my life. It is what God has gifted me to do. I consider it an honor to help the pre-adolescent students who are in my classes develop into the young adults they are meant to become.
The middle school age is my very favorite stage of child development. When the students leave Chapel Hill to go on to seventh grade they are basically who they will become as adults. Their character has been formed, and I have been a part of that process. Professionally, I have over twenty years of teaching experience mostly at the middle school level. Ten of those years have been at public schools and ten have been in Christian education. I spent several years designing and implementing a gifted program for the Highland Local Schools in Medina County. I am a graduate of the University of Akron and have taken graduate classes at several area universities. ![]() Click To Enlarge |
