Hello, my name is Linda Smucker. I am joining the Chapel Hill Christian Staff as an enthusiastic and passionate ambassador of Jesus Christ.

I graduated from Malone University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in both Early Childhood Education and Intervention Specialist. I found my love for teaching as a camp counselor and as a personal tutor. After graduating from college, I had the opportunity to be a Toddler Teacher at a daycare where I learned how to engage children with hands-on and real-life experiences according to their personal interests.

I grew up as a Mennonite in the Kidron Community in Wayne County. I got married shortly after graduating from college and I currently live in Massillon. I have a passion for singing and music

I am blessed with the opportunity to combine my two passions of teaching and Christ here at Chapel Hill Christian School. I am excited for this new faith journey as we start this new year. I pray you will see my love for your child, and my desire to introduce a personal relationship with Christ as we dive into the world of education. I am honored to have a chance to watch your child grow this year academically, emotionally and spiritually!

Pre-K students arrive with a vital and open creativity and imagination. With this in mind, pre-k students, due to trust in their instructor, are remarkably available to learning, and thus, make great strides in their knowledge base which makes them a joy to teach. It is simply astonishing to be present as these children engage their initial experiences with independence and confidence building.
