Spanish Day at the North Campus! Groups of 6th graders were assigned themes to research then teach preschool through 3rd grade students what they learned. Among the lessons: Futbol Skills (American soccer), Culinary Arts of Spanish Speaking countries, and a visit to the Amazon Rainforest. Muy Fantastico!
The University of Akron String Quartet
Thanks to the The University of Akron String Quartet for their recent visit to our North Campus! Each instrument was introduced and demonstrated. Then, students were invited to practice perfecting their own “plucking and bowing” form, as well as come forward to conduct the quartet themselves.
