Wow! I am so blessed to have this opportunity to be apart of your children's lives! It is so amazing how quickly Jesus can take your life and turn it in a totally unexpected direction than what you had planned for yourself. I hear Jesus in my heart saying, "Not so fast; come and follow me." My life has had some unexpected turns, as I find myself following Jesus with all of my heart. It is amazing how Jesus leads us precisely where He desires us to go. I believe Jesus placed it in my heart to serve at this school, and I am very excited to do so!I
My name is Cassie Capaldo, and I am joining Chapel Hill Christian School as the technology teacher from first to sixth grade. I could not be more excited for this new adventure! I have a passion for Christian education, as it changed my life. I went to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in high school, and it helped instill the values and beliefs that I hold true to my heart today. Christian education helped to infuse the love and passion that I have for Jesus Christ my Savior. I graduated from the University of Akron in May of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Development and a minor in Parent Education. I have a deep desire to learn, as I will hopefully start my Masters program in the spring in Education and Community Counseling. I am thrilled to be here and excited to teach your children! I feel that my job is extra special, as I have been given the opportunity to teach multiple grades, therefore getting to know a good majority of the students at CHCS! Technology is a very important tool that we are able to use to develop knowledge and learn from in this fast paced society. It is important for children to learn how to use technology to help aid their learning and to use the computer with wisdom and discernment. I desire to make learning fun and exciting and model love to the students at CHCS that Jesus shows me everyday!
