Mrs. Amanda Wade
Grade: 6th Grade My name is Amanda Wade. I am so excited to be a part of Chapel Hill Christian School and your students’ lives! I grew up in Akron, Ohio and attended elementary and middle school at Lake Center Christian School and high school at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. I graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. in Middle Childhood Education. In teaching, I have found the work that I was made to do. And what a blessing to teach in a school where my love for Jesus can be a part of every lesson! I have spent most of my summers at camps, starting when I was 4 years old and my mother began working as a camp nurse, through my college years when I served on camp staffs. I love being outside. I married my best friend Ben, and we take every opportunity we can to hike, camp, fish and boat. I am fascinated by and in love with nature and all it reveals about the creativity and awesome power of its creator. (Fun fact—He uses math!) In 6th grade, Math and Science will be our paths to adventure together deeper into the wonders of God’s creation and His character, helping us to draw closer to Him. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of your child’s 6th grade year. I can’t wait to get started! Click To Enlarge |
